The Illini Advance To The Second Round
Illinois made a major comeback on Friday allowing them to advance to the second round of the March Madness Tournament. At the start of Friday's game, it appeared that Chattanooga would knock Illinois out of the tournament but the Illini came back during the second half. Alfonso Plummer's back-to-back threes and Coleman Hawkins's clutch block were pivotal contributions to the Illini win.
The team will face Houston at 11:10 AM CT today.
